    Description

Don’t pay high prices for a great product!  I purchase 20-lb bulk at wholesale from a US chocolate maker and immediately vacuum-repack for freshness -- this fresh lot has a 4/26/2024 recommended use by date.
Each 2-lb package contains about 226 teaspoons (about 5 cups) of pure, US-made, non-GMO allulose, verified by nongmoproject.org.  Parve Kosher and Halal certified, and Keto- and vegan-friendly.  Allulose crystals are much finer than table sugar . . . even finer than “baker’s sugar” sold in markets . . . and readily dissolves into liquids.  It is a perfect noncaloric substitute for sugar in baked goods, and browns like sugar for excellent quick breads, cakes, muffins, and cookies. Delicious in coffee, tea, lemonade, smoothies, and cereal, with no aftertaste like other sweeteners. About 70% as sweet as granulated sugar, 1-1/3 cups of allulose sweetens like 1 cup of table sugar.  My cookies and muffins taste better using allulose than sugar, and I substitute 1:1 in recipes.  Scratch-made cookies come out soft and caramelized but will not overcrisp . . . a result of high sugar content.
Allulose is a one calorie sweetener with 0 g net carbs.  9 g total carbs - 9 g allulose = 0 g net carbs.  A particular benefit of allulose is its zero glycemic impact – the sugar is not metabolized and is excreted.  Allulose is a naturally occurring “rare sugar” found in figs, raisins, and kiwi.  Some users have reported minor stomach upset from consuming too much allulose – as with any sweetener, use in moderation.
