Mariquita Perez Doll From Spain Very Rare Spanish Striped Tin Plaid School Dress

This is the famous Spanish doll, Mariquita Perez, with her original red and white stripe tin packaging. I bought her new on a trip to Spain about 20 years ago. She probably lay dates to the late 90s or early aughts to commemorate her ‘40s release. She stands at about 8” tall with blue eyes, and shiny brown hair. She wears a plaid dress with matching headband, white blouse, white undies, and molded on socks and shoes. Her arms and legs move back and forth. Her elbows and knees do not bend. She has a Spanish and English insert, explaining her history. The tin has some minor wear from age. Overall excellent condition. Sold as is. Very cute and endearing. A wonderful addition to your doll collection!
