We are selling a plug-in, electrical adapter.
This adapter converts a standard 4-prong, 220 Volt Stove Plug, to a standard 3-Prong 110 Volt Electrical Outlet.
If you wish to replace your electric stove with a gas range, you will likely need an adapter like this.... your gas stove will cook using natural gas, but it will also need electricity for the igniter, the oven light, the clock, and the "in use" lights.
When an electric stove is removed, you will likely find that the only electrical outlet back behind the stove was the 220 Volt stove plug.
This is where you would use this adapter - if your stove plug is a 4-prong 220 volt outlet (NOT a 3-prong 220 volt outlet),
If you're in the USA and your home was built or renovated after 1996, you likely have a 4-prong stove plug (1996 is when the electrical code changed, requiring new electric stove plugs to be 4-prong).
